Expect a personalised letter from Santa, a North Pole newspaper, a Find Santa activity (a charming search through a bustling holiday scene), activity cards, keepsake documents, and a few small whimsical surprises.

Wimsykit is designed for children aged 4 to 9, the golden years of Christmas magic. At this age, children are old enough to engage independently with the activities, and young enough that the wonder of Santa Claus is still very much alive. That said, every child is different. Some imaginative 3-year-olds will love exploring the illustrations with a grown-up, and some 10-year-olds who still believe wholeheartedly will cherish every piece. You know your child best. Many families find it works beautifully for a range of siblings at once — older children enjoy helping younger ones discover the story.

Your kit includes a parent guide that organises every piece into two simple categories: Open on this day, pieces with a suggested date, such as a letter, a newspaper, or a keepsake document. Your job is simply to hand it over at the right moment, and read it aloud if your child would love that. Activity, things to do together or let your child explore on their own. Join in as much or as little as your day allows — there is no wrong way to take part. The two recipe cards are the one exception: these are best enjoyed with a parent nearby, both for safety in the kitchen and for the pleasure of making something together. Beyond that, everything is ready to use as it arrives. No printing, no special tools, no preparation required. December is busy — Wimsykit is designed to take some of your load off, not add to it.

Please order by 15 November to receive the kit by the beginning of December, and to allow the full experience to unfold through the month. Kits ordered after this date will still contain everything — they simply begin the story a little later in December. Orders can be placed until December 1st.
